When I was 12 something came to me and took something.

At 54 it came back and it was fucking shocked I was ready for it. It tried to portray dark strength “I’m the fucking shadow fear me”. “Fuck you” I told it as it became my bitch. It was an actual pleasure with butterfly excitement and red bows. 

When you see a shadow terrified of you it speaks.

It is now aware of what I really am. I took a bite of it, put it in a pretend jar and took back what was mine.
